Due to the unusual things that Bordertown could do to advanced technology and magic, portalocity could only get visitors to the train station. There they could take the Bordertown Express. The Bordertown Express was a steam locomotive with five cars. It looked old timey and awesome. It would then go through Southside Bordertown and deposit them at the bus/train depot which was about at the border (no pun intended) of Southside and Northern B-Town. There they would find an excited Leda waiting for them.

[Here is day one of the Bordertown Trip. This post and the trip are open to all who wish to participate. Please wait for OCD is up.]

On the Train

Before it reaches the city, the train passes through the Never Never. The Never Never is a vast (possibly endless) wilderness that surrounds Bordertown. The view is unique as there are trees and creatures that are extinct, or never existed in the Human world. Magical, and mundane animals occasionally creep out to take a peek. Old oaks rub shoulders with mighty redwoods. And hey is that a Wild Elf?

Up ahead, there's the city. And just beyond that, you may see the border itself. It's invisible to most humans, but some can see it. Those who do, say it's beautiful.

Jack was excited. A train trip! To the place where his Little Sibling was from!

Jon really wasn't paying a lot of attention because trains made him sleepy tired. So he was casually kicked back, shades on, taking a nap.

Anyone is more than welcome to kick his legs for that.

Liz was definitely excited about this trip and she spent most of the time looking out at the view.

Leda may bounce. Fair warning. She couldn't wait to see who had taken her up on her invitation.

Jon was used to bouncing girls. It seemed to be a theme when they were happy. "Hey, Leda!"

"Jon!" Leda squealed with delight, and ran forward. She was armed with a hug. "Welcome to Bordertown!"

Hugs were good things to be armed with, occasionally. Like now. "So. You look good. Town looks interesting. Where's the food?"

Yes, those were all important questions.

"Thank you on both counts. You look good too. Well what are you in the mood for? Chinese? Italian? Mexican?" She grinned. Food was one of the things she'd been looking forward to showing off.

Accomodations

Leda stole her parents Bordertown equivalent of a credit card so she can get you rooms at the Bordertown Hilton if you wish. Or perhaps one of the many moddable bed and breakfasts is more your speed.

Anyway, get settled in before Leda takes you to wherever you want to go. Shopping? Clubbing? Eating? Exploring? What's your pleasure?
